Yes, your slideshow with countdown timer will run on OS X and iOS Keynote.

1. You need to copy and paste countdown timer to any slide of your presentation.

2. Resize it and place it anywhere on your slide.

3. When you are done you need to ungroup it (click secondary menu and choose ungroup). Countdown timer for Keynote will not work if you won’t ungroup it.

4. Now you can set the time range of countdown time if you did not find suitable time range in default slides. Select countdown digits go to Format menu on the right and click Movie. You can enter trim time or move slider to get the right time range.

5. If you wish that countdown would start after the slide is started uncheck “Start movie on click” while you have selected countdown digits.

6. Run the slideshow to test the countdown timer.

Sounds are not a part of the Countdown Timers for Keynote because most of the users preferred them without the sound (therefore we have removed them). Nevertheless if you need sounds at the end of countdown you can download the sound files (press here to download sound files) which can be used with the timers.

Sound files are divided into separate files according the length also you can trim them within Keynote QuickTime inspector tab. For example if you choose 15 minutes timer add sound file of 15 minutes. Also you will find different sound effects. The sound will be only when the time is almost up.

Yes, iWeb 3.0 still works under OS X Mountain Lion or later version with no problems at all. Even if iWeb is not being actively developed anymore, you will still be able to create, edit and publish your website with iWeb for at least a few years (just not publishing to MobileMe).

If you have an old Mac with iWeb on it all you have to do is get iWeb application from the Applications folder of the old Mac and transfer it to the new Mac; – If it’s your first Mac or you don’t have iWeb on your old Mac and want to have it on your new Mac try to find an iLife ’09 or iLife ’11 DVD to install iWeb; You can buy “iLife 11” retail box from ebay, amazon or other site because Apple removed them from their stores and iWeb is not listed in App store.

As long as iWeb still works we would stick with iWeb. After iWeb will not work anymore or if you’re already looking for alternatives we would recommend you to switch to Realmac’s RapidWeaver.

iWeb application title should be “iWeb”.

If your iWeb is located in other folder just move your iWeb temporary to this location and install themes again after you will finish install themes you can move iWeb back to previous folder.It is important to install iweb themes to the same hard drive as iWeb. Restart iWeb after installation is finished, under iPresentee group you will find new iWeb themes.

Save a template to the Template Chooser

1. With the template you want to save open, choose File > Save as Template.
2. Use the default location or select a folder and click Save.
3. Delete a custom template from the Template Chooser
4. Click the Finder icon in the Dock and choose Go > Go to Folder.

To open the Templates folder, enter:

1. ~/Library/Application Support/iBooks Author/Templates/My Templates/
2. Find the custom template and drag it to the Trash.
